Michael T. Hess

Michael T. Hess (Mike) is originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota. In 2003, he received a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He then received his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 2006.

Mike began his intellectual property law career as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark office in Alexandria, VA (2006-2008). His responsibilities included examination of patent applications in the mechanical and manufacturing arts, including semiconductor manufacturing. He joined Bourget Law in January 2008 and is excited to be back in Wisconsin.

Mike is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and California and is a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He concentrates his law practice in the areas of patent, trademark, copyright and computer/contract law.
